Dr. Alghannam completed her PhD in ERL/CEE in 2022 working with Prof. Ruben Juanes. Before coming to MIT, she worked as a reservoir engineer in the oil industry for several years and on testing and developing some features for a lattice element code to model rock fracturing during my masters at UC Berkeley.
